Firstly, I missed Shock Docs! I watched 24 instead cos I made it home from tennis in time (4-2 win if you must ask). So I missed out on the dwarf midget story, although I'm pretty sure Bean Bag Boy caught most of it so I'll get him to give me a comprehensive summary tomorrow.
Secondly, I need to publicly thank Miquel Casas for helping out with the whole Word Press theme/html stuff. I clearly had no idea what I was doing. Miquel's site is here: http://miquelcasas.com/
Thirdly, I need to come to terms with my new myspace addiction. I need to accept that 1) I'm not popular, 2) I really don't have celebrity 'friends', and 3) the fact is my 'band' is currently only me. It's been pretty difficult to come to terms with actually and I'm probably getting a little bit emotional about it. I mean, when Margaret Cho accepted my friend request, I thought it meant something, that I was special. Turns out I'm just one of over 23,000 friends. It's devastating. On the plus side I have got a couple of messages from non-celebrity types to say they liked my music, but I'm pretty sure they were lying just so that I would be their friend.
Perhaps it's that I've gone delerious. It's 12.55am, Thursday morning. I have to work tomorrow, and I'm still trying to find what sort of tuning pegs would be a straight match for a 1970's reissue Fender Stratocaster neck with the CBS era oversize headstock. Crazy. Peace out homies.
To all the friends of the pickle, don't forget to tune into Shock Docs this Wednesday, Channel 9 at 10pm. In case you don't know what it's all about, it's the program that we here at Nerd Central bond over of a Wednesday night. Past episodes have included stories on Amputee Admirers (aka. Amputee Porn), the Morbidly Obese, and Chubby Chasers. Who could forget moments such as this from a dude professing his love for legless women:
"When I was young, growing up thinking about sex, I used to see womens legs and I was like, what are they for?... what am I supposed to do with those?"
Speaking of morbid obesity, I'm fighting my own battle at the moment. Late April 06 I was tipping the scales at a hefty 105.5kgs. Last weigh in I was at 97kgs, since then though have developed a minor pringles addiction and I'm afraid I may be back up to 98kgs. I need to regain the motivation if I'm ever going to?reach my current target of 89kgs.

This post is dedicated to Lil' Gerry and his right to purchase the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trilogy if he wants to. I confess, I've only seen the first one and I couldn't tell you the names of any of the lead actors (besides that Elias guy that plays Casey Jones)... but answer me this, who wasn't inspired to strap a washing basket to their back and kick ass with their home made nunchuckas after seeing this movie?? ... anyone?... anyone???...
The first time I heard the title track, 'The End of Heartache' I remember feeling like I could run through a wall. From the first listen, it was the sort of song that you knew you'd be playing full blast, singing your lungs out, whilst driving along a freeway somewhere. » Read the rest of the entry..

Bringing this biatch to life has been a lot harder than expected! I'm starting to see code, but at least I haven't gone totally crazy, I don't think I've turned into Neo or anything...
yet.
Big news on the bean bag front. Bean Bag Boy has gone with a funky 80's style upgrade for his bean bag. Please refer to the artists impression of Bean Bag Boy. Note that in his natural habitat he is most comfortable in track suit pants, with his laptop resting on his legs to keep them warm in winter.
