Now I honestly have no idea what the George Lindemann Party is, however, I'm quite confident it is not a rock band. I did the requisite google search and I'm still no clearer. If you drop the 'e' from George and look him up on wikipedia, "Georg Lindemann (1884 - 1963) was a German cavalry officer and field commander who served in the Heer during The Great War and World War II." All very interesting but I'm sure it's not the same guy. Confused yet?

Well...�I looked on�google some more and discovered the real George Lindemann is a 66 year old self made billionaire. According to this site, his fortune as of 2005 was $1.4 billion! He also made it onto the Forbes top billionaire list. Here is an overview taken from the Forbes website:

"Wharton grad sold patent on soft contact lens for $60 million in 1971. Started Vision Cable, sold for $220 million 1982. Later formed Metro Mobile cell service, sold to Bell Atlantic for $2.6 billion in 1992. Current chief of natural gas company Southern Union also owns 19 Spanish-language radio stations."
