If you've seen the Dukes of Hazzard movie that came out a year or two back, you will have discovered (as I did), that it is a significantly more enjoyable film if you turn the sound down and skip through to all the scenes featuring Jessica Simpson. The same could be said for her music video for 'These boots are made for walking', damn near unbearable with the volume turned up, but takes on a whole new artistic direction once the mute button is hit.

Anyway, Jessica's latest appearance on the cover of Maxim has sparked some speculation as to whether she's had some sort of plastic surgery, or if the people at Maxim have gone a little over board with the airbrushing. Maybe it was even the maxim lighting department working over time? Who know? Obervers?are suggesting that she may even have had some rhinoplasty nose surgery to keep in step with her sister Ashlee. You can see some before/after photos here and make up your own mind.?Personally, I hope it's just some stupid airbrushing, because I've paid particular attention to the 'Boots' film clip, and I really don't think she needed any work!

Which brings me to my next non-point. Rhinoplasty. For a plastic surgery procedure designed to improve physical appearance, it sure could do with a name change, or make over of it's own!
