I saw the Matt Lucas and David Walliams interview on 'Enough Rope with Andrew Denton' on Monday night. If your don't know who they are, they are the stars of the TV series 'Little Britain'. I knew that Matt Lucas was bald but what I didn't realise until Monday was that he is without eyebrows as well, and that he has suffered from Alopecia Universalis since the age of 6. What I found cool though was?how he'd turned what could be seen as a negative, into a positive. He spoke about how he has?used his unique situation to bring to life?popular characters from Little Britain, such as Andy. Apparently the Alopecia Universalis makes him a dream to work with for the make up artists involved in the show.

The whole Alopecia thing sounds like a ready made episode for Shock Docs! I had to look up Alopecia to see how to spell it, what else I found interesting was all the old 'cures' used to treat male baldness. From pidgeon droppings to electro shock therapy, it sounds like people have tried a bit of everything.
