One of the local troops alerted me to this cracker of a news story. Hasselhoff to appear in a stage version of the Producers. The Hoff is a big fan of Mel Brooks apparently.

Mel Brooks has also heaped some praise on the Hoff saying that the Hoff "has an incredible comedic timing, terrific musical theatre experience and a stage presence that I think will be a perfect marriage with the role. And, by the way, he has great legs for that dress." Anyone that remembers the Hoff from his Baywatch days can vouch for that.

The only way that this version of the Producers could get any better is if Gary Coleman is cast as the Hoff's side kick.
