Education Minister in need of some education
I read a bizarre story just recently regarding NSW Education Minister Carmel Tebbutt. Whilst out promoting her governments 'excellent' track record in education she was asked what the significance of Australia Day was. Unfortunately for her, she couldn't provide the correct answer. Must have been highly embarrassing to have been corrected by the radio host live on air. As the Age pointed out "she should count herself among the three-quarters of Australian teenagers ignorant of the significance of Australia Day".
