I thought it timely to give you, my loyal readers (all 2 of you), some pointers on how to start saving some money for the new year. But before I start, I should point out that I do not personally endorse any of these money saving methods, but rest assured, I know people that would!

1. Always 'poo' at work. If you follow this tip you will be able to minimise the amount of toilet paper you use at home. Not only does this save you money, but by pooing at work you will not be cutting into your out of work time. Practitioners of this method have also been known to take in a newspaper, although generally that should be frowned upon.

2. Forward your work phone through to your partners mobile. This one is complex, but have heard rumours that it can work. People practising this money saving method divert their work phone through to their partners mobile phone before leaving work. Then later, using a landline, they can call their work phone, which diverts to their partner, and talk to their g/f or b/f as long as they like for the cost of a local call. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this one, you'd only want to use this if planning to quit your job anyway I'd say!

3. Eat your breakfast cereal at work. Devout followers of this practice bring their favourite breakfast cereal into work. How does this save money? They never buy milk, instead they use the milk from the tea room to fill their breakfast bowls. This one is for the absolute tight ass only!

4. The sugary confectionary sugar savers method. If you've ever bought a packet of those sugar coated lollies, jube things, then you know that a lot of the sugar comes off in the bag. Supporters of the sugar savers method will save the excess sugar from the bottom of the packet and add it to their sugar bowl. This cuts down on the amount of sugar they have to purchase.

If I think of any more top money saving tips I'll post them.

I'll leave you with my top tip: ALWAYS MAKE MORE MONEY THAN YOU SPEND
