The first half of 2007 promises to be a big one for NIN fans like myself with news of both a new album (Year Zero) and new live DVD posted on the official NIN website.

In early January final mixing began on a new NIN album due for release sometime in April 2007. This one snuck up on me a bit I have to admit, but now I know about it, it’s going to be a long wait until April! Trent Reznor was quoted on the Blabbermouth website as saying:

"This is not a particularly friendly record and it certainly doesn't sound like anything else out there right now. Artists these days are not encouraged to experiment or take risks, and my punishment is on its way."

A DVD of their Live: With Teeth North American Winter Tour 2006, called Nine Inch Nails Live: Beside you in time, is due to hit stores on the 27 February 2007. It will be available in three formats, DVD, HD DVD and Blu-Ray. Based on the last NIN live DVD, this will be a must own!
