I realise that I'm fairly cynical, but at the same time, it is a fact that 99.9% of things you do on the internet are geared towards making money. Making money for someone else! You don't have to buy something or run up your credit card bill in order to generate revenue for someone else. Just about every time you view an ad, click an ad, search, buy something, download something, join a community, or post a story, picture, or video, some one, somewhere, is making money, collecting commission, and/or a sale from your regular web surfing activity.

I recently read about the AGLOCO program on John Chow's website. Now this guy is loaded, so I'm guessing he know more than a little about making money off the internet.
