Speaking as someone that has developed a prodigious coffee habit, I was interested to hear about Gano Cafe, marketed as the first know "Healthy Coffee" in the world. According to it's maker, Gano Cafe contains less caffeine than decaf coffee, without sacrificing any of the flavour. Gano Cafe has just made it's way into the US market.

The key ingredient in Gano Cafe is Ganoderma, which is also known as Reishi in Japan, Lingzhi in China and Youngzhi in Korea. Also tagged as 'King of Herbs', Ganoderma has taken on all but mythical proportions, and is said to help the body process toxins and strengthen the immune system.

As a healthy, caffeine free alternative to regular coffee, Gano Cafe is an interesting proposition. Unfortunately, in my case, it is the caffeine in coffee that appeals to me. It wouldn't not be a week day morning without my regular caffeine hit! But if, for whatever reason, you need to kick the caffeinated version, the new "Healthy Coffee" might be just what your looking for.
