Cisco are one of the biggest names in the world when it comes to networking for the internet. I was surprised to learn that they are such a massive world wide company, employing more than 47,000 people. With those sort of resources then, it's not surprising that they have such a tight grip on the wifi market.

Wifi laptop computers are becoming increasingly common, and as a result, demand for reliable and secure wireless networking is also on the rise. According to the Cisco website, more and more companies are employing wifi systems and seeing a return in the form of increased productivity and improved responsiveness to customers.

Having set up a micro wireless network at my place, I have to say that I found the whole setup process a little confusing. But now that it's in place I'm glad I took the extra time to read the setup manual! Even in a small sized home the advantages of wifi are obvious. You can let your nerd-self break free, and roam the hallways laptop in tow. Wifi makes multi tasking a breeze. Cook dinner and surf the net on your laptop. Sit out on the front porch with a martini and play World of Warcraft. Think of the possibilities!

LEAVE A RESPONSE

I like it when people leave comments. It makes me feel warm inside. What I don't like is when I receive comments from people with robot sounding names like "free web hosting" or "North Carolina Real Estate". Names like these will trigger the SPAM alarm at Pickles HQ, and likely get deleted. In summary, comments that look like an attempt to do nothing more than build back links will be deleted. Thanks for your understanding ~ swollenpickles.
