Spiderman 3: the review we had to have

Just got back from seeing Spiderman 3. Have to say I loved it. That is not to say it wasn't flawed and corny, just that as far as super hero movies
go, it was worth the price of admission.
It pretty much continues down the same path 1 and 2 started, but this time it's all about Spiderman's battle with himself, and also about forgiveness. The movie kicks off a little slowly, but once it starts rolling and builds up speed it hits its mark.
The movie starts with Spiderman/Peter Parker feeling all good about the world, and himself. Things are going great, until a meteor hits earth and a weird poo crawling creature eventually latches on to the spider suit causing some interesting changes to Peter's personality. This leads Peter to make a series of un-Peter like decisions, which he spends the rest of the movie trying to make up for.
The key villains in this film are more bit places as most of the story focuses on the relationships between Peter, Mary Jane and Harry Osbourne. When Venom finally makes his appearance though it is worth the wait. The Sandman reminds me a little of something from the Mummy or the Mummy Returns.
Spiderman 3 is a cool movie, sure to get a lot of butts on seats. Don't look into the plot too much though, or you may be disappointed. Get along and see it on the big screen as it may not satisfy as much on the box at home.
