I signed up to Auction Ads around one week ago, you can see them on this site. So far they have had over 3,000 impressions in 7 days, with a CTR of around 3%, which isn't too bad. Problem is, this doesn't result in any sort of payout, unless the person that clicks through the ad then goes on to perform an action.

When your site's visitors click on an Auction Ad listing and take an action on eBay you earn cash. Actions are defined as a Winning Bid, a Buy-it-Now or a confirmed user registration. AuctionAds is committed to paying out a minimum of 100% of eBay commission revenue.

So far then, my 3,000 impressions have yielded a 0% return. Not exactly setting the world on fire, but still early days. I guess there is also the possibility that some of the people that have clicked through, have gone on to bid, and the auction hasn't ended yet. I think I really need to give the program a solid month before I make any judgement as to it's worth.

In the meantime, if you want to join me in the Auction Ads experiment sign up and give it a try.

LEAVE A RESPONSE

I like it when people leave comments. It makes me feel warm inside. What I don't like is when I receive comments from people with robot sounding names like "free web hosting" or "North Carolina Real Estate". Names like these will trigger the SPAM alarm at Pickles HQ, and likely get deleted. In summary, comments that look like an attempt to do nothing more than build back links will be deleted. Thanks for your understanding ~ swollenpickles.
