I read this interesting "interview"/puff piece this morning. If you've been here before you may have read about the Kumiko identity saga. If this is your first visit and came here expecting to see pictures of Paris Hilton's camel toe then you can quickly get up to speed by reading this.

Anyway, Bob delved deep with this probing question, "There have been rumours that Kumiko might not be who people think she is and I would like your comment on this." We then get a paragraphs worth of dancing around the issue without addressing it directly. Perhaps the most telling part of "her" response is this:

In any case, I’m loving the exposure that the controversy creates!

The whole thing is starting to look more and more like a cheap crass gimmick to drum up a bit of quick web traffic.

Knowing the internet, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before some enterprising young whipper snapper unearths the true identity of Kumiko. Misrepresentation has always been a problem with the internet, and is one of the reasons why some people are still hesitant to do business on line. Pretending to be something your not does nothing to help your credibility. Hypothetically, if you found out that someone had mislead you into believing they were something that they are not, could you trust them again? Would you look to them as a reliable source of information? I know I wouldn't.

If your reading this Kumiko, who are you?... I mean really?
