Voltron was in the original mix actually, but got squeezed out in the end. I don’t think I’ve heard of Land of the Lost, but I might have to check that out on YouTube.

The Greatest American Hero theme actually got tons of radio play on the soft hits stations back in the day.
Monkey, is something I have only vague memories of. The theme vid gave me a flashback, awesome.
Im glad you avoided the obvoius icons like Gilligans Island and The Adams Family & Andy Grif.
My only for sure addition would be night rider, the duke of hazard, Voltron and the land of the lost.

interesting top 5 … creating top ten 10 lists always provides fodder for debate and i would argue monkey as number one would be on the top of many lists, but perhaps not mine. what about home-grown content like ‘hey dad’, ‘neighbours’, ‘play school’, ’round the twist’ or ‘paradise beach’? c’mon, admit, you loved paradise beach!!! and estelle getty … delicious …
