In my inbox the other day, I received what was said to be the latest promotional poster for the Dark Knight movie. In case you live under a rock, the Dark Knight is the next installment in the Batman saga. It will star Christian Bale as Batman and Heath Ledger as the Joker. It is currently scheduled for a July 2008 release.
I open the image, and it looks awesome. Enough to get me excited, it hinted at the sort of cinematic Viagra 300 had promised. I'm pretty sure that geeks worldwide would have already received the same email, but just in case you missed it, or it got stuck in your spam filter, here is the poster I'm talking about... » Read the rest of the entry..
Well it turns out that my crystal ball is broken. My page rank prediction failed. Even though the page rank update hasn't quite happened yet, it can't be far away. Right now though, I'm going to look around and see if I can find my crystal ball receipt. It's time I returned that damn thing!
When I was at uni, I died my hair black. Maybe it was me dipping my toe into the goth world, I’m not sure. All I know is that I obviously couldn’t commit, as I let the black grow out. Now if things had been different, and I’d kept the black hair, perhaps I’d find this goth dating site useful. I’ve always found the goth lifestyle interesting, from a sociological point of view. What prompts someone to adopt the gothic lifestyle so heavily? Is it a way of fitting in, but trying not to fit in? I’m not sure.

Please note: This disclosure badge did not come in black.
NERD ALERT, I repeat, NERD ALERT! Transformers was an average big budget movie. It wasn't awesome, but it wasn't a steaming pile either. The best part of the movie was the Chevy Camaro. What I'm trying to say is, the movie was in no way good enough to inspire this high level of nerd activity...
This photo made me say "Wow" out loud. Here are some words that accompanied the photo from Breitbart.com:
A Mexican tipping the scales at 560 kilograms (1,234 pounds) will be listed as the world's fattest man by the Guinness Book of Records, while a loss of 200 kilos (440 pounds) may make him the man who lost the most weight.

I'm unofficially adding a new goal to my "goals project". Since I registered with the Australian blogs community, I've seen Swollen Pickles slowly rise up the rankings of the top 100 Australian blogs. As of last nights update, Swollen Pickles has reached the number 55 spot. I am now within 3 places of my arch nemesis, Andrew Bolt, Herald-Sun 'opinion' columnist. I will not rest until I'm ranked higher than Bolt!
