Changes to AuctionAds good news for new publishers

There have been a few changes to AuctionAds recently, some good, and some bad. I previously mentioned their new "Web 2.0" ad formats, since then, AuctionAds have also made changes to their affiliate payouts as well as the minimum payout. On the positive side, AuctionAds have increased the affiliate payouts. Affiliates now receive 5% of all revenue generated from referred publishers, for the first 6 months of the new publisher's earnings, up from the previous 2%.

On the downside, AuctionAds have raised the minimum payout to $50. This is a bit of a drag, particularly for smaller publishers or people starting out, but I suppose $50 is still only half of what you'd need for an Adsense payout.

AuctionAds are currently offering a nice incentive to encourage new publishers to sign up.

AuctionAds are offering an instant $25.00 balance to all new publishers who sign up for AuctionAds!.

If you haven't joined already, now is a good time to get on board AuctionAds.

Adam – I think AuctionAds is a good way to supplement Adsense earnings. I could see that on some niche sites it could perform better than adsense, but swollenpickles.com isn’t one of them. As another revenue channel though, AuctionAds is well worth looking into.

ShanX – good work with the $25 bonus!!
