Paris Hilton vs David Letterman
If you haven't seen the Paris Hilton interview with David Letterman then you should give it a look. Yes, it's the train wreck you'd probably imagined. While she just wants to plug her clothing line and perfume, Dave just want to ask her about her time in the big house.
Watching this, you have to wonder, did her publicist honestly think Letterman wasn't going to go the whole jail route?
It's the 5min 18sec mark that things get real awkward.

I’d say she thought she’d be going on the show for a five minute friendly puff piece style interview. When her face dropped you knew she had more than enough.

What a great interview. I stopped watching Letterman years ago and then recently started again. I was highly disappointed because what I saw was no where near as good as he used to be. Jon Stewart and the Daily Show is so much better; however, this interview with Paris was more in line with what I remember Dave to be. I absolutely loved how he just wouldn’t let her sneak away from the jail topic when she wanted to. Nice post.
