Tell us about romance
"Tell us about the most romantic experience you have ever had, and the importance of romance in relationships."
Well, there was this one time, I was seated at a restaurant, for the sake of the exercise, lets call it 'McDonalds'. I had finished meal, but was still hungry. As I approached the counter the waitress smiled, and asked, "Another cheeseburger sir?â€
It was as if she had read my mind. Was that even possible? Perhaps... but perhaps she had been alerted by the grumbling noises that my stomach had been making? So many variables, so many unknowns, but then, that is what romance is all about.
No doubt romance is important in relationships, but what exactly is it? Is romance never having to say you’re hungry? If Winona Ryder knocked on my door carrying a meat lovers pizza, I think I’d find that quite romantic. What can I say, I’m just a traditional, old fashioned guy.
I’m guessing my idea of romance won’t be showing up in any... wait for it people...
Ahhh... that reminds me of the ‘Peterotica’ episode of the Family Guy... “...and then he totally did her...†So there you have it, romance need not be all gold chains, roses and champagne!
