Well to all those people that doubted WidgetBucks would pay, here's a screenshot of what you've been missing out on for the past month. The following screenshot is my first payment from WidgetBucks for my October earnings. Just a nudge over $433 USD for October.

WidgetBucks Earnings Screenshot
So there you have it. WidgetBucks is most definitely not a scam, and WidgetBucks most definitely pays out when they say they will! For all those people waiting to see if WidgetBucks would payout before they joined up, here's you chance to join up and take advantage of their $25 sign up bonus.

The only problem I have now is, do I go back and add this to my October earnings retrospectively, or add it on to the December earnings? I guess that's a good problem to have!

Earn $$ with WidgetBucks!

Hi unitechy - I haven’t experienced much down time with them. I took them down for a week or so but I’ve put them back now they are serving CPM ads for non US traffic.

Hi Alan - I still use them. On this blog they are on a few of my more highly trafficked posts and I’ve tried targeted those ads. Eg, lingerie ads for the “camel toe” hunters.
I was having the most success with them on my music site.

You’re right, the CPM rates are low at the moment, but that was to be expected. Here’s some info from their blog:
“CPM rates will initially be “low” because WidgetBucks is building credibility with these advertisers. As of today, we are implementing more targeted campaigns for traffic coming from countries that will quickly represent a better CPM. Specifically, those are UK, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Brazil, India, and Japan.”

“Not long. In fact, publishers should see an increase in CPM rate over the next couple days as we expand targeting methods.”

“Rates are definitely varying by country (and see the question below on non- or low-paying regions). Most countries are ranging between $0.25 and $0.80 CPM, depending on ad size. In general, the 468×60, 728×90, and 160×600 ad sizes yield higher than the 300×250, and much more than 120×600 or 250×250.”

Even though they have implemented the CPM ads for international traffic, the pay outs for those are pretty low. WidgetBucks still works best for sites with a lot of US based traffic.

Hi Colorspill, are you outside the US? If so that may explain it as the widgetbucks ads are only shown to US visitors and they replace them with CPM ads for rest of the world traffic. You can see how much you making from CPM ads by clicking the CPM tab in the reports section within widgetbucks.

I like it when people leave comments. It makes me feel warm inside. What I don't like is when I receive comments from people with robot sounding names like "free web hosting" or "North Carolina Real Estate". Names like these will trigger the SPAM alarm at Pickles HQ, and likely get deleted. In summary, comments that look like an attempt to do nothing more than build back links will be deleted. Thanks for your understanding ~ swollenpickles.
