Waiting on the Dark Knight. New Batman pictures.
If you've been waiting for the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight, then I'm guessing the 18 July 2008 release date, currently being thrown around, can't get here quick enough.
Based on everything I've read and seen, the Dark Knight is set to carry on the grimy gothic vibe established in Batman Begins. The Joker looks evil and truly psychotic, which can only be a good thing for a Batman villain. As the hype continues to build, WB have released a few more screenshots of the Dark Knight.
Here's one of Batman hitting the road on the Bat Bike. I can only assume he's chasing a bad guy and not ducking out to pick up some milk.

There's this one of Batman busting Jokers chops, which I'm guessing is not for jay walking.

And finally we have the Joker looking slightly unhinged in a holding cell.

Holy orange mocha frappachino Batman! I'm looking forward to the finished product in July!

Hi,
Me too, looking forward to the release of the movie. Though it is a long way to go.
Is it not amazing how grown ups can go googa about Batman? More adults are excited about the advent than kids!
I’d say that both Batman Begins and the Dark Knight are more geared toward adults/young adults than kids. Not really kid friendly IMHO.
You are right of course. The point is that adults now a days are perfectly willing to admit that such movies fascinate them. They even play video games!
So we’re going to be teased for the next 7 months ?
In general, Superman is the most kid-friendly followed by Spiderman. Batman would appeal most to young adults and the older variety.
Wish you Happy Holidays and a Wonderous New Year of health, happiness and success!
The bat needs milk too dude.
Did you see “thehahahatimes.com” ? I think it’s an awesome attempt at marketing!
If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, there’s a (official?) trailer that you don’t need Quicktime to view: http://atasteforthetheatrical.com/
I don’t use Quicktime. I can’t stand a million processes running just from Apple.
Thanks for that David, thehahahatimes.com is pretty freakin cool!
Quite welcome you are sir! The text on that page was a little small for me, so I drug it over to my second monitor
