Follow up to the John Chow experiment
Well Happy New Year and all that. Glad to report that the results of the Entrecard/John Chow experiment is in. You can check out my previous post for more information, "the John Chow experiment and the super weak SwollenPickles.com competition". As far as I can tell, there were no official entries for my piss weak competition, so there were no winners.
In the 24 hours that my Entrecard widget was displayed on JohnChow.com it generated 47 clicks. To be honest I was expecting it to be a slightly higher number, something in triple digits. He's displaying the widget just below the 'featured sites' section of his sidebar (and not buried at the bottom of the page), which is a pretty good position given that Entrecard is free. I might have to try and pick up another spot over the next month or so and see how I go then.
For the record, the closest guess came from Alan, who looks after 'The Thin Red Line'. Alan guessed 43, which was a tidy effort.

It was worth the watch and wait. At least now you know for sure what it does. Happy 2008 to you too.
Thanks bud. Same to you!
