Would you like to make the easiest $25 of your life?
If you've read my most recent goal update then you'll know that WidgetBucks was solely responsible for me destroying my previous monthly earnings record. WidgetBucks have also silenced all the critics by paying out all earnings, not on time, but ahead of schedule. If you've ever considered trying WidgetBucks on your website, now is the time to give them a shot.
I was reading the WidgetBucks blog this morning and they have announced that they will stop issuing the $25 sign-up bonus on new accounts from 15 January onwards.
As of January 15, WidgetBucks is discontinuing the $25 sign-up bonus on new accounts. We wanted to provide ample lead time for publishers who may have created custom links and graphics that reference the bonus (such as Digital Point and other forums). For those publishers using code and tools provided on the Referral Tools page, we will be updating that code on our backend, meaning NO code update will be required by publishers.

What does that mean for you?
Well, it's pretty simple. If you want to make the quickest and easiest $25 of your life, register with WidgetBucks before the 15 January 2008. Let's face it. this basically amounts to getting money for doing next to nothing.
If you don't register, you are basically saying that you don't want and/or need $25, in which case you should consider sending me $25, because I can use the money!

I got the free $25 bucks! I was wondering if you could share some tips with us about widgetbucks positioning? In my experience ad positioning is half the battle, or at least, the front line! Your widget bucks seem to have fully automatic rifles.
I was lucky to get a referral who seemed to know what he/she was doing! Otherwise, my earnings wouldn’t be anywhere near as good.
In terms of position, I haven’t quite got it figured out for this new layout yet.
On my music site though I definitely had the best results with the massive 660 wide one at the top of the page. Only issue with that one was it was a touch overpowering.
In general a 468×60 at the top of a post, or just before the comments seems to go ok. But I think a lot comes down to your layout. I guess it’s best to make everything fits naturally together (eg. content and ads) as much as possible.
In terms of performance, flat panel tvs seem to bring in the best CPC for me. Lingerie the lowest, although they have the highest CTR! Go figure
Hmm, will give them a try (With you as referrer of course). Thanks for the tip!
Hey man. Really dig the new layout.
This is really interesting but this is old news.
It wasn’t old news when it was first posted though.
The only thing is that only pay for north American traffic (I just found that out). What do you think of Auctionads?
They serve CPM ads for non-US traffic and are apparently looking at expanding their PPC program to include other countries.
I just read that AuctionAds has merged with ShoppingAds. Initially AuctionAds worked quite well for me, but around the time that it’s ownership changed, it really went down hill for me. I left the ads up for a couple of months after without earning a thing. There are still a couple of ads floating around on my sites (that I can’t be bothered tracking down – they were within posts), and last time I looked I still hadn’t made a thing. Very sad.
