Go join MoreNiche now!... please

For what it's worth, here's a screen shot of the money I've made via MoreNiche having done nothing more than registering (that took all of 20 seconds), logging into their forum and reading some of their 'how to' guides (which are actually worth reading I might add).

So there you have it, that's $25 I didn't have a week ago.

Today I was searching for a way to monetize a top secret niche site that I'm setting up as a side-side project. Adsense isn't really an option, and the traffic volume isn't huge at the moment anyway, so it would be hard to make much via PPC methods. I decided to look into some affiliate programs that I hadn't previously considered. That's when I stumbled across this little gem, MoreNiche.

MoreNiche offers a range of "niche" products to promote, and might have something worth checking out if you are struggling to monetize a niche site. The major positive at the moment is the sign up bonus. Basically MoreNiche seem to be giving away a minimum of $15 for doing nothing more than signing up.

When you join you will automatically be awarded with a $15 sign up bonus. You then earn a further $30 for learning about online marketing. Why? It is all thanks to our Cash Activated Bonus System which is designed to motivate you and to provide you with starting capital to promote our merchants.

Another aspect of MoreNiche that is highlighted on the FAQ's page is that they basically approve every applicant immediately.

You will be automatically accepted into the affiliate network, so that you can promote the products straight away. You will be given unique identifer links for every merchant and product in the network - no need to wait days for your application to be approved!

Perfectly suited for the beginner!

They actually give away well over 20 eBooks devoted to a whole heap of topics that will teach you how to make money via affiliate money. These books are for real, they are free for registered affiliates and I've downloaded them personally no strings attached. If I hadn't seen it for myself I probably wouldn't have believed it. There's also a members only forum. In short, there's a butt load of free resources at your disposal, and if you can't learn something from them, then you probably already know all there is to know.

When you become a MoreNicheā„¢ affiliate (for free) you get access to over 50,000 pages of information about marketing successfully online. You also get access to a quick start guide, which is designed to get you earning commissions within 24 hours.

Me, I can do with the $15 to put toward my goal project, so I just joined. You can call me an affiliate whore if you like, but I'm not an affiliate whore that has $15 extra in his pocket. :D

Code4Gold.com is one of the webmaster forums I stop in on every now and then. Today Dave, who looks after the Best Affiliate Programs blog, posted a number of questions regarding the ClickBooth network.

It seems to me that affiliates are so polarized and partisan on this program that they forget to include any details for those of us who are not affiliate yet.

Seeing as though no one seemed to have any answers for him, I thought I'd have a go at answering his questions. Please note, that these answers are largely based on my own opinion, with some help from the ClickBooth FAQs.

What type of advertisers does ClickBooth have? Are they general audience or adult related?

The mix of advertisers that ClickBooth has is similar to competitors such as Commission Junction and the Pepperjam Network, although the volume of advertisers is not as high as either of those two. » Read the rest of the entry..

My recommendation is to quickly sign up to the PerformancingAds network and start spreading the word. They've just launched and from a publishers 'money making' perspective it often pays to get out there and be the "early adopter". WidgetBucks is a prime example for me as I was able to cash in early, and did quite well.

PerformancingAds looks like a winner for bloggers and they favour the 125x125 ad blocks that are increasingly popular, and easier to position on a page. They also pay via PayPal which is another major positive.

Here's the skinny:

Become an affiliate with PerformancingAds

How it works:

  • Earn $10 for each new publisher or advertiser you refer
  • Plus, earn 5% recurring revenue on all advertiser ad buys ... for life.
  • Massive Potential:
  • Let's say that you refer 2 new advertisers per month and each spends an average of $250 per month. Within 1 year, you'd be making a cool $300 per month in 100% passive income.

But wait. Let's say that you referred 5 new advertisers per month. Now you're talking over $750 per month after 1 year.

As you can see, the opportunities here are endless.

    Make Money With PerformancingAds

    I'm excited :D

Well July 2008 came to an end all too quickly. Not exactly sure where the month went, but what I know is that in terms of the goal project, it was a month of ups and downs. I also had to spend a lazy afternoon revising my excel spreadsheet so I can keep a better track of what's going on.

    1. Develop Swollen Pickles into a website that can generate $350 per month.

June was a pretty solid month with $306.81, however, July, was not so great. Revenue was down to $215.10. In terms of top earners, there was no standout program. The eBay Partner Network, Shopzilla, LinkWorth, phpBayPro affiliate program and ClickBooth all brought in between $25-40 each, and then there were a few others in the $15-$20 range, including Share-A-Sale.

    2. Develop Swollen Pickles to the point where it receives 30,000 unique visits per month.

Another below par performance, well under my target. There were 22,862 unique visitors in the month of July. Down from a nudge over 26,000 in June.

    3. Develop Digital Burn into a website that can generate $150 per month.

Digital Burn didn't exactly set the web on fire in monetary terms at least. July was a slow month, raking in $69.36. The drop was noticed largely in the eBay Partner Network, which was well down for the month.

    4. Develop Digital Burn to the point where it receives 15,000 unique visits per month.

Traffic as hit a plateau, with 11,297 unique visitors in July. There were 11,228 unique visitors to DigitalBurn in June, so as you can see, not a lot changed there. To be fair, I don't think I posted on there once during July. Lazy!

    5. Develop Motor Dude into a website that can generate $50 per month.

This site smashed its previous record. July was relatively huge, bringing in $197.05. A good chunk came from LinkWorth, which is proving to be more than handy in bringing in the coin.

    6. Develop Motor Dude to the point where it receives 7,500 unique visits per month.

Record earning month, yet a dismal traffic month, with only 1,769 unique visits. Really need to sort the traffic situation thing out if I want to keep the site viable longer term.

    7. Achieve my goal weight of 85kgs.

    96kgs.

So there you go. Only a quick update this month. I got to go do the vacuuming. Damn that sucks!

Want to go on a four week holiday with an attractive looking blonde lass that loves to party?

Well, now you can, if you win the eBay auction that is.

If you want to bid on the auction you can check it out here, as well as more bikini shots of the blonde.

Edit: 03 August 2008, It appears as though the auction has been taken down, lucky I grabbed a quick screen shot before it did its disappearing act.

Is it genuine? Who knows, but it certainly grabs some attention...

I'm putting my 4 weeks holiday in your hands.

I am on holidays on 1st August without a destination, can you help?

Please take me away and show me the best time of my life. I love exotic destinations, warmer weather, beautiful beaches and water sports. But I also love to ride horses and enjoy picturesque countryside.

A new adventure??? I will travel to where my destiny takes me.

What you are bidding for is a vacation with ME, and lets face it, i'm great fun!!!!!

And yes I love to party!!!!!

One catch, you pick up the tab.....

Standard Conditions; Holiday must be taken in the month of August

Just over two days remaining so you better get in quick. If you win the auction, I'd be interested to hear how the holiday went.
