They spent more on this film than either die another day OR Casino Royal (to the tune of 50 million) and made less (around 100 million) so really compared with Royal they lost about 150 mil and compared with Die another day they lost 100 mill. I think Royal was only so sucessful because Brosman made bond popular and everyone wanted to see the new bond...now every realized that Craig sucks so his movies will not make as much $ I think the public has spoken.
