This weekend I sat down and watched a stack of old Chappelle Show episodes. Damn that show is awesome. I really miss it... *sniff*... "What did the the five fingers say to the face?... SLAP!"

Now I'm going to attempt to bring joy to the people this Monday by sharing some of my favourite Chappelle Show skits.

Number 1: The "Jedi Scandal"

Think Yoda holding a press conference trying to explain video footage of himself snorting cocaine and uttering Yoda gold such as "horny this make me".

I hope no one here got too engrossed in the new Hugh Jackman, musical drama series, Viva Laughlin. Just saw channel nine advertising 'Two Weeks Notice' as this coming Monday's movie for the 8.30pm timeslot. That wasn't a great sign, seeing the show bumped after it's first episode. So I did a quick search, and found that Viva Laughlin had been axed by CBS in the US after only 2 episodes.

If you blinked and missed it, Viva Laughlin was a musical drama set in a Las Vegas style casino. It was always going to meet with mixed opinion, some people were bound to like it, while others were guaranteed to see it as the first sign of the apocalypse!

There aren't that many ads that I see on TV that I can say I truly like. These two ads for Skittles are the exceptions. Brilliant, if somewhat bizarre, ads. Simple executions, that really cut through thanks largely to their overall oddness. » Read the rest of the entry..

I'm guessing this young lady won't be visiting Swollen Pickles any time soon. She goes on national television to declare her "deathly fear" of pickles. This is one of the more bizarre clips of footage I've seen.

People have phobias about all kinds of stuff, but pickles??? Pickles??? If you've never seen a day time talk show guest get chased around a TV studio by people brandishing platters of pickles, then you need to watch this. » Read the rest of the entry..

If you were the one person in the country that hasn't seen the Chasers War on everything "APEC stunt" here it is in all of its glory. Besides the ridiculousness of it all, I can't say I found it all that funny. I'd describe it as bizarre rather than out right funny.

If you want to check out the way A Current Affair interpreted the events, you can check out their clip here.

The popular Chaser's whipping boy, Today Tonight, took a harder line toward the whole thing. The video quality isn't the greatest, but you'll get the idea.

Here's some work from BBC World.

So there you go. What do you think?

Have you ever experienced that feeling where, after watching a movie or DVD, you find yourself saying, "geez, that was cool!"? Well that pretty much sums up how I felt after watching Afro Samurai.

Afro Samurai is one of the coolest anime series I have seen to date. The series follows a samurai named Afro, as he treks across a "futuristic, yet feudal Japan", to avenge the death of his father. There is a little bit of "Kung Fu" and "Monkey" in Afro Samurai, which is probably why I liked it so much. » Read the rest of the entry..

Season 3 of Lost has come to an end. There were some answers, and a lot more questions. For me, the big question is who or what is “Jacob”?

At this point, I should point out, that if you are not a fan of Lost, then the following post will almost certainly make no sense whatsoever. » Read the rest of the entry..
