Outdoor advertising that changes with the weather

For those of you that think advertising is an evil bad thing, I challenge you to cop an eyeful of this billboard ad and then tell me if your opinion has changed!

This one's simple, clever and border-line NSFW, but since it was an outdoor billboard I'm going to have to go ahead and say that it must be ok.

The top image is the billboard in perfectly dry conditions, the bottom image is the same billboard after a decent down pouring of rain.

How to create your own search engine

Do you have an undeveloped domain name just sitting there gathering dust? Personally, I have a couple that were purchased based on the "it seemed like a good idea at the time" principle. I'd tried parking them, but that wasn't working out for me.

So now I've decided to use one of the domains to create my own search engine, at least until I have time to develop the domain further. Keeping in mind that I literally spent 47 seconds on this, take a look at my uber search engine, you can check it out at VikingIdiot.com.

Whilst it may not look like the pinnacle of web design, you shouldn't expect too much from 47 seconds of hard labour, besides that, it's also bringing it some extra cash, from what would otherwise be a dormant domain. Want to know how I did it? (more...)

Ah YouTube is a beautiful thing. A great place to pass the time if there is nothing fit to occupy you on TV. This little compilation I present to you today includes music, global warming, driving, and midgets.

I caught the under the radar comedy 'Walk Hard - The Dewey Cox Story'. Highly under rated. Here's a clip of Dewey Cox going through his Bob Dylan faze, writing songs, and singing for the little people.
